The process of encryption works as a protection over documents, and other information either online or offline someone might want to have for personal uses or notification. Similarly in International School Dhaka (ISD), the network administrator creates a barrier between the school management and students in order to provide privacy for both the staff and school as a whole. In ISD students are not granted the administration right to explorer staff’s folder over the network as they are protected and can only be explored by the logged on staff on the ISD database.

A more popular form of Encryption is the ISD mail also known as the Squirrel Mail which is provided to every staff and student throughout the school. This feature allows both the students and the management to communicate both inside and outside the school. An email account is provided to every student by the school network administrator at the beginning of a students first week or so in school. Although there are various advantages of using this service one of the main disadvantages is that and user is not able to change his/her password at will. Therefore many are aware that nothing that might be exposed or might affect their privacy is on that account as it might be checked or hacked by the surrounding, although many are urging that both students and staffs are able to change their password at will.
